San Diego Discovery Flight (Super D)

Our 45 minute flight starts as we takeoff in our iconic Super Decathlon from Gillespie Field and head west towards San Diego Bay to begin your aerial adventure.  Check out the home of Top Gun at Miramar Naval Air Station before you drop down low level to check out the famous San Diego beaches, including La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Mission Beach and Ocean Beach, all just a few hundred feet above the ocean!  Have your camera ready as we fly at building top level over the iconic San Diego skyline and the San Diego Padres Stadium.  Be amazed as you fly right over the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier museum, before we turn around a Coronado Bridge and fly right over the San Diego International Airport.  We cap it all off with a military style landing back at Gillespie Field!  As an added bonus, participants will have the opportunity to fly the airplane themselves, under the watchful eye of one of our certified flight instructors.  Consider it your first flight lesson and you are able to log it towards any future pilot training that you may pursue!

Though your flight is over, your memories will last a lifetime.  All flights feature an option to purchase an in-flight high definition video package that makes for a wonderful souvenir to share with friends and family. One passenger per airplane, maximum of 2 participants per time slot.  If 2 people want to fly at the same time, one participant may upgrade to our advanced Extra 330 for a $200 surcharge.  Restrictions apply.
